
Sacramento County District-1 covers approximately 112 sqaure miles and includes many of Sacramento's most diverse and established nieghborhoods such as Downtown, Natomas, North Sacramento, Del Paso Heights, Oak Park, Curtis Park, Tahoe Park, East Sac, and River Park.

Sacramento County District-1 extends to the Sacramento-Sutter County line in the north, down to Florin Road–east of Power Inn Road on the southern end, to the Sacramento River on its western border, and reaches portions of Watt Avenue, McClellan Business Park, and parts of central/east Sacramento.

All registered voters can vote in the November 3 general election. To register to vote in California, you must be:
1. A United States Citizen and resident of California.
2. At least 18 years old on Election Day.
3. Not currently serving a state or federal prison term for the conviction of a felony (individuals with prior convictions are eligible to vote).
